Miami ami ami

After some 'bon voyage' drinks with our AWESOME Burque friends, two hours of sleep, a plane ride we can hardly recollect, a gregarious and hilarious Jamaican taxi cab driver, we made it to South Beach just in time to breathe in the moist ocean air and sink our toes into the soft, warm sand.

A walk down the famous Ocean Drive puts us right into the movie Scarface.  All we need is a fly convertible, some stogies, and we're set.  The delightful Art Deco architecture makes you think of the crazy lifestyles that must have been lived during the 30s.

South Beach is filled with a conglomerate of cultures (mainly latin) and tourists.  "The perfect send off to Central America!"

As a way to embrace our ambitions of leaving our lives, family and friends (and Bisco) and quitting our jobs to travel south and volunteer, tomorrow we are going to jump out of a plane to welcome the new year, 2012.

Till next time,

DOM y MeeNer

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
